Photo of the day: Alexander Usik saw his newborn daughter for the first time
WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight champion Alexander Usik met his newborn daughter Maria for the first time. The photo was posted on the social network Instagram by the boxer’s wife, Ekaterina.
A girl weighing about 5 kg and 53 cm tall was born on January 28 in one of the Kyiv clinics. Alexander and Ekaterina also have a daughter, Elizabeth, and two sons, Kirill and Mikhail.

Let us remember that Usyk missed the birth of his daughter due to preparations for the fight with WBC title holder Tyson Fury. The fight was planned for February 17 in Riyadh, but was canceled due to a cut the Briton received during sparring. Now the boxers are scheduled to meet on May 18 there.
