American trainer Teddy Atlas, known for his sharp tongue, reacted to the result of the fight between the WBO world champion in the first welterweight Teofimo Lopez (20-1, 13 KOs) and Jamayne Ortiz (17-2-1, 8 KOs), which took place today, December 9, in Las Vegas, USA.

Let us remind you that according to the results of 12 rounds, all three judges gave the victory to Lopez (117-111, 115-113, 115-113).

“I’m not saying that any of the guys lit up in the evening. I thought Ortiz won, but give it to Lopez 117-111? Perhaps the sport was purer when it was run by the mafia. Sorry, upset and tired. We need a hearing from the National Commission,” Atlas wrote on his page on the social network X.
