WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury spoke about his injury during the final part of the training camp for the fight with the holder of the WBA, WBO and IBF belts Alexander Usik.

The fight between the Ukrainian and the British was supposed to take place on February 17, but the “Gypsy King” received a cut during sparring and refused to perform. Yesterday it became known that the meeting was postponed to May 18.

“I agreed on a 12-round sparring session with four different boxers. In the fifth round, I received an elbow to the eye and a cut. I was in the hospital and had 11 stitches. “I have medical reports... I’ve never had anything like this, this is the first time,” BoxingScene quotes Fury.
