Wallin commented on his coach's decision to stop the fight with Joshua

Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin believes his mentor Joey Gamache did the right thing when he decided to stop his fight with the former unified division champion Anthony Joshua, which took place on December 23 in the main event of the boxing evening in Riyadh.

"I agree with it. Joey told me he was going to stop the fight and I didn't say anything. He spent 10 years with me. He saw me in training and in almost all my fights. He's never filmed me, so I trust Joey.

As a coach, you see that your player returns to the corner and looks worse after each round. I haven’t reviewed the fight, but I believe Joey,” Wallin said in an interview with Boxing News.

Let us remember that Wallin did not come out of the corner after the fifth round.
