Usyk told how the "second Usyk" constantly offered him to rest

Oleksandr Usyk, WBA, WBO, IBF heavyweight champion of the world, spoke about his path to success.

"When I was 16, 17 years old, I prayed, 'God, if I'm deserving, give me the opportunity.' I prayed, went to bed and in my head I started to imagine. First about winning the Ukrainian championship. And I won those competitions. Then about winning the European Championship. And I won, too! I boxed in my head. Then about winning the world championship. I won on the second try. Then about winning the Olympics. Also winning on the second try. I always visualized these successes. But not only visualization - I practiced skills in the gym. The second Sasha Usyk always told me: "Hey, take a rest, you are already a world champion, you are an Olympic champion". I would reply, "Hey, I don't know you, get out of here!" However, the second Sasha continued: "Relax, you're the absolute world champion in the first heavyweight division." I said, "No!" You have to work hard, life is movement! If you work hard, you will get the reward," Usyk told DAZN.
