Mexican boxer Jaime Munguia (43-1, 34 KOs) shared his emotions after losing to absolute world champion in the second middleweight division to compatriot Saul Alvarez (61-2-2, 39 KOs).

"I was in great shape and got the victory in the first rounds. This defeat was painful for me as it was the first of my career. I'm sure I could have defeated any other opponent tonight, but the guy I faced can cause a lot of trouble," said the Mexican after the fight.
Recall that Munguia lost to Alvarez by unanimous decision of the judges (117-110, 116-111, 115-112). The fight took place on the night of May 5 in Las Vegas, USA.
