Justin Gaethje compared the fighting qualities of the former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedova and the current champion in this weight Islam Makhacheva.
“I think their styles are very different. It's hard to oppose Khabib. He constantly puts pressure on you and knocks you down. Makhachev doesn't have this ability, but he has a better stance and is very good on the ground. “I used to say that Islam is no match for Khabib, I don’t want to say that Islam is better, but now, after he knocked out Alexander Volkanovski, I would like to find out how things really are,” Gaethje said.
Let us remember that Justin earlier said that in the fight with Makhachev it would be easier for him than it was in the fight with Khabib.
