WBC and WBO Cruiserweight Champion Alexander Usyk fully recovered from a hand injury and resumed preparations for the final of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS) against the IBF and WBA Champion Murat Gassiev.
Initially, the fight was scheduled for May 11 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, but was canceled because of the injury of the Ukrainian. At this point, the place and date of the battle are still unknown. According to unofficial sources, the meeting will be on July 21 in Jeddah.
