Fundora-Lubin in spring for interim WBC title

At the turn of March and April in the USA Sebastian Fundora (18-0-1, 12 KO) and Erickson Lubin (24-1, 17 KO) will fight for an interim WBC junior middleweight title.

The leadership of the World Boxing Council explains that they have appointed the boxers as candidates for the interim belt, because in the spring there will be a rematch for four championship belts in the category up to 69 kg between Jermell Charlo and Brian Castano.

26-year-old Lubin knocked out former unified world champion Jason Rosario in the last fight. Fundora beat Sergio Garcia on points in her last performance.
