Lauren Price believes she can beat Natasha Jonas and Sandy Ryan

Lauren Price, an undefeated boxer boasting a record of 6-0 with 1 KO, is poised to challenge Jessica McCaskill for the WBA welterweight title on May 11 in Cardiff, Wales. This fight marks a significant step in her career as she aims to secure major bouts against notable fighters such as Natasha Jonas and Sandy Ryan.

Price, a gold medalist at the Tokyo Olympics and multiple other international competitions, trains under coach Robert McCraken. Her rapid ascent in professional boxing has positioned her as a noteworthy contender in the welterweight division. Price stated, "I’m fighting against somebody who’s been a legitimate champion, and I believe I will win the fight. From there, I just keep progressing to bigger and bigger fights." Reflecting on her career ambitions, she mentioned her focus on those holding belts at 147 lbs as part of building her legacy.

Looking ahead, potential fights against Natasha Jonas and Sandy Ryan are on the horizon. Ben Shalom, the promoter, has indicated openness towards a bout with promotional stablemate Jonas. Sandy Ryan shared similar sentiments about facing Price, describing it as "a great fight" that she is "100 percent open to."
