Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are getting ready to fight again. The two heavyweights will meet in just over two months to decide who's the best in the division.
Usyk won their first fight in May. He dropped Fury and got the split decision win. That made him the first undisputed heavyweight champ since Lennox Lewis almost 25 years ago. But Usyk had to give up the IBF belt because of the rematch deal he had with Fury.
Daniel Dubois stepped up and grabbed that IBF title. He's now the full champ after being the interim one. Dubois is coming off a big win. He knocked out Anthony Joshua in the fifth round at Wembley Stadium in September.
Dubois and Usyk have some history. They fought in 2023, and Usyk stopped Dubois in the ninth round. That fight had some drama - Dubois dropped Usyk, but the ref called it a low blow.
Now Dubois wants another shot at Usyk. He told FightHype:
"With Usyk it's definitely unfinished business. That's how I'll fight him it will be a totally different outcome. I'll go right through him."
Dubois feels he's a better fighter now. He said:
"I feel I'm changing and evolving as a human being and as a fighter. Every L that I took on the way up to this point I've improved massively. From the team and the trainers, and even the stuff we're doing in the gym, it's just a complete game changer for me now."
He's got his sights set on Usyk:
"Usyk has been slipping through us heavyweights for a bit now, so it's time to put an end to it."
But Dubois will probably have to wait. He'll likely fight Joshua again next. And Usyk's got that big rematch with Fury coming up in December.
