Former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington reacted in his usual tone to the announcement of a fight with the holder of a full-fledged title Leon Edwards.
Their meeting will be the main event of UFC 296, which will take place on December 16 in Las Vegas.
“My prediction is that it will be complete dominance from the first second until the referee intervenes. In this battle he will not have even a glimmer of hope. I'm going to teach him a lesson that will make him not want a rematch with me. Perhaps he will retire or fight with those against whom he has at least some chance. On December 16th, he will understand who he has messed with,” BJ Penn quotes Covington.
