Khabib Nurmagomedov, a former UFC lightweight champion, revealed why he didn't quit training at a young age.
“In 2010, I was 22 years old and I had the belief that I didn’t belong to myself. My father made decisions and, of course, my mother. I always thought that my mother supported me, but it turns out that she always stood behind her father. She told me one thing, but she always supported her father. My father wanted me to train, and I did it. Because for me his desire is sacred. But I also wanted to train.”
Recall that Khabib ended his career in 2020, remaining an undefeated fighter with a record of 29-0.
