Buddy McGirt, heavyweight trainer Dillian Whyte, reacted to the news that his ward failed a doping test.
“I will support Dillian. I'm not going to turn my back on him. Until they say what kind of substance it is, I cannot make statements. We'll meet in the hall in a few hours and find out what's going on. This is a kick to the balls. Deep down, I feel that Dillian would never go for something illegal. Because he loves his career and cherishes it...,” said the specialist.
Recall that on August 12, at the O2 Arena in London, White was supposed to have a rematch with Anthony Joshua. The bout was canceled after the news that Dillian failed the test.
