Former World Heavyweight Champion Joseph Parker (30-3, 21 KOs) will return to the ring on January 21 after losing to Joe Joyce in September. The New Zealander, whose opponent in the BOXXER tournament in Manchester will be Jack Massey (20-1, 11 KOs), declares that he would like to fight with Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs).
“I know that Wilder recently got a beautiful victory over Helenius in the first round, again showing that he has a strong right. If everything goes well for me, I will be ready to fight him,” the New Zealander said in an interview with ID Boxing.
The main event of Saturday night of boxing will be a middleweight bout between Chris Eubank Jr. (32-2, 23 KOs) and Liam Smith (32-3-1, 19 KOs). In addition, this evening Richard Riakpore (15-0, 11 KOs) will cross gloves with Krzysztof Glowacki (32-3, 20 KOs).
