Garcia was supposed to return next month against Mercito Gesta, but ultimately decided against the upcoming return and now intends to wait for the fight with Davis. If Davis wins next month, the fight with Garcia will most likely take place in April.
One of Garcia's problems is his periods of inactivity. He fought only once each in 2020 and 2021, and Davis also had a higher level of opposition.
