“I don't think it makes sense as George has done a lot for this sport, especially for the UFC. Why are you holding this guy? George is a fighter. You cannot hold a fighter. It's like taking a lion from the jungle and putting him in a cage. The lion will die. Nobody can do it. It's horrible.

"When you do your job, especially fighting at a level like me and George, you deserve respect. George has worked hard to do a lot for the UFC. White is holding St. Pierre, it doesn't make any sense. I have a personal opinion about Dana and I'm not in the UFC anymore. I do not like to talk about the UFC, this page of my life has been turned. I did my best for the company and put all my heart into it, but this chapter is closed,” the Brazilian said in an interview to MMAjunkie.
