Koreshkov: I have plenty of work to do

Former Bellator welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov turned to his fans after defeating Michael Jasper at the Bellator 219 show.

“The battle is over, we won! Thanks to everyone who watched, supported and helped me. I want to thank my trainer Alexander Shlemenko for the preparation, support, attitude, tactics and care. We will now most likely fight in Russia on May 4 at the RCC tournament against a strong opponent, and he will sacrifice his training for me to help and support me. Also, many thanks to my team and its management for their support and for all the good things you are doing for us and for the whole sport.

“In general, I feel fine. Not everything worked out in this battle, my opponent turned out to be a strong and awkward fighter. But I am glad that I won, I beat off three rounds. Such fights are very useful. There is something to work and where to grow. Thank you again and see you soon,” wrote Koreshkov on his Instagram page.
