Topuria responded to how his fight against a prim McGregor would have turned out

UFC featherweight champion Elijah Topuria is confident that the promotion's top star Conor McGregor, even in his prime, would be an easy opponent for him.

"MMA has evolved. Conor was really good in the stand-up, but he was always terrible on the ground. I'd beat peak McGregor, anytime, anywhere. There's no intrigue here. Let him drink whiskey," Topuria said in an interview with YouTube channel Full Mount MMA.

Recall, Topuria will fight Max Holloway on October 26 at UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
