According to MMArena, undefeated UAE middleweight Hamzat Chimaev has withdrawn from his bout against former division champion Australian Robert Whittaker.
Chimaev and Whittaker were scheduled to headline the UFC's debut event in Saudi Arabia on June 22. The source informs that Hamzat can be replaced by Frenchman Nassourdine Imavov, who knocked out Jared Cannonnier last weekend.
Recall, Chimaev has not appeared in the octagon since October last year, when he won a split decision over Kamaru Usman.
