Dustin Porier, a ranked UFC lightweight, reported that Islam Makhachev broke his nose during their fight.
"I'm not sure if the punch broke my nose or if it was a head kick because we collided heads in the center of the octagon and I didn't realize where the pain was. My nose is definitely broken. I've already had a few nose surgeries. I hope I don't have to go through this process again, but I feel like the bone is not where it should be," Porier said at the press conference.
Recall, Makhachev beat Puryear by choke in the fifth round.
