McGregor still intends to fight at UFC 300, despite White and coach's claims

Former UFC champion in two weight classes Conor McGregor stated that he still expects to compete at the promotion's 300th anniversary tournament, which is scheduled for April next year.

Earlier, UFC head Dana White, and later coach John Kavanagh, said that the long-awaited return of the star Irishman would not take place earlier than the summer - he needs to spend six months under anti-doping control.

“Yes, I’m in! I'm sure we'll get a date. Nobody is detaining anyone. “There’s a lot going on behind the scenes, but everyone involved is working hard to make it happen,” Conor responded on X to one follower who asked if he could fight at UFC 300.
