Alex Pereira

UFC light heavyweight title contender Alex Pereira said that the former division champion Jiri Prochazka Initially, he did not want to accept a duel with him, but later changed his position.

Just yesterday it was announced that the Brazilian and the Czech will fight for the vacant title on November 11 at UFC 295 in New York.

“After the Blachowicz fight, my managers and UFC representatives spoke backstage. This took Prochazka by surprise. I don’t want to say anything bad, the guy takes his business seriously—everyone can see that.

You can’t just agree to a fight with a fighter who is on the move. I am prepared, in excellent shape and wanted this fight, but Jiri was taken by surprise. He refused, so we were unable to meet in October. However, now the fight has been announced, and we will fight in November,” MMA News quotes Pereira.
