IBF light heavyweight champion Arthur Beterbiev is ready to fight against WBO title holder Sergey Kovalev. Last weekend, Beterbiev defended his title by knocking out Radivoje Kalajdzic of US in the fifth round.
“I am ready to meet anyone,” Beterbiev said. “Gvozdyk, Bivol or Kovalev - no difference. With Kovalev it would be interesting to meet. We have a background with him, which he himself, one might say, raised.”
Kovalev’s next fight is scheduled for June 29. According to preliminary data, Kovalev will meet Anthony Yarde of UK in Russia.
