“It's hard to say, but I think the division has moved on. If you stay inactive, you fall out. I think that's how it is. Sean Brady has been very active, Ian Garry too. These guys are constantly fighting. How can Shavkat stay on top if others are having fights? Activity is a key factor. If you sit on the sidelines too long, you inevitably fall behind. It's a tricky question, but I just do what I'm told. The next opponent will be whoever the UFC decides to put against me,” the champion said in an interview with MMA Fighting.
