Plinio Cruz, coach of UFC bantamweight champion Alex Pereira, said his charge is highly likely to have his next fight in March.
"It would be ideal if he came back in June, but he'll probably fight in March. Honestly, if it was up to him, he would fight in December, but the problem is that we have a lot of commitments that we have to fulfill. We have a lot of trips, promotions, business meetings planned, so March is a compromise option that suits everyone," said the specialist in an interview with Ariel Helwani.
Recall that on October 5 at UFC 307 Pereira held the third defense of his title, knocking out Khalil Rountree.
