Puryear has revealed how many fights he can take before his career is over

Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Puryear admits he could have two more fights before retiring from the sport.

"We had a good discussion with the UFC guys. Maybe I won't do one more fight, but two fights. I definitely want to fight in Louisiana. I want to leave the gloves where I started fighting. That's my goal. But the UFC needs to plan these things ahead, there's a lot of nuances. I want to finish my career on home soil.

My first fight with Gaethje was in his "home", the second - in a neutral arena. The third fight I propose to hold on my territory. The fight with Hooker was awesome. With Nate Diaz, I'm ready to fight at welterweight as well," said Puryear to The MMA Hour.

Recall that Porye has not appeared in the octagon since June, when he lost early to Islam Makhachev.
