UFC featherweight champion Elijah Topuria said he hopes to share the octagon with higher division belt holder Islam Makhachev in the not-too-distant future.
"How many times can you ask that? This fight is absolutely possible, for sure. The fight with Makhachev will be very soon. I hope Makhachev will be my next opponent after Holloway. I hope so," Topuria said while interacting with fans on social networks.
Recall that the fight between Topuria and Max Holloway will be the main event of the UFC 308 show, which will take place on October 26 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
