'Islam is also a human being'. Puryear believes in the victory over Makhachev

Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Porier once again said he is confident ahead of his fight with full titleholder Islam Makhachev.

The American and the Dagestani will fight on the night of June 2 as part of the UFC 302 event in Newark, United States.

"I just know that if Islam opens up and tries to hit me hard and I catch him, he's going to hit back. We've seen Makhachev get hurt before. Even guys who haven't been dropped before can be sent to the mat. Islam is a human being, too. I can be the guy to beat him," Puryear said in an interview with Daniel Cormier.
