Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Porier made a bold statement ahead of his bout with full titleholder Islam Makhachev.
"This Saturday, I'm going to send him into a muffled knockout. I'm gonna leave him lying there unconscious. I'm gonna take the belt away from you this Saturday, man. He should listen to his coaches and try to box with me. Islam, let's show boxing," said Puryear at the press conference.
Recall that the fight between Porye and Makhachev will be the main event of the UFC 302 tournament, which will take place on the night of June 2 in Newark, USA.
