Lemieux and Munguia score TKO victories

In the boxing evening in Las Vegas on the undercard of Gennady Golovkin's fight against Saul Alvarez, former middleweight champion David Lemieux (40-4, 34 KOs) scored a TKO victory in the first round over Gary O'Sullivan (28-3, 20 KO). The outcome of the fight decided the left hand of boxer from Canada.

 

 

In the same evening, WBO light middleweight champion Jaime Munguia (31-0, 26 KOs) scored TKO victory in the third round over Brandon Cook (20-2, 13 KOs) and defended his belt won in May for the second time. From the very beginning, the Mexican took advantage, he was more active and effective. The bout ended in the third round after two knock downs of the Canadian, after which the referee Tony Vicks waved it off.

 

 

Roman Gonzalez (47-2, 39 KOs) successfully returned to the ring, scoring a TKO victory in the fifth round over Moises Fuentes (25-6-1, 14 KOs). The former king of the super flyweights from Nicaragua had his first fight after two consecutive defeats from Sisaket Sor Rungvisai.
