Du Plessis backed Prochazka's desire to move down to middleweight

UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis commented on former titleholder Jiri Prochazka's announcement that he is moving up to the 83.9-pound division.

Earlier, the Czech allowed that he could move down to middleweight after regaining the title.

"Prochazka is not such a big fighter. I think Jiri needs to drop down to middleweight. I have nothing but love and respect for Jiri, no doubt about it. I just got to see him at the UFC Performance Institute, and I know what I'm talking about. He moves lighter than me," - quoted Du Plessis portal MMA Junkie.

Recall that on April 13 at UFC 300 Prochazka knocked out Aleksandar Rakic in the second round.
