Sekhudo called Tsarukyan a young version of Makhachev

Henry Cejudo, a former UFC champion in two weight classes, called Arman Tsarukyan a "young version" of the promotion's current lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.

"Arman is a young version of Islam Makhachev. He's very versatile and we all saw that crazy knee strike he knocked out Beneil Dariush with. Arman was a bit annoyed by his close loss to Mateusz Gamrot. Also, Tsarukyan gave the most competitive fight to Islam Makhachev out of all the champion's opponents," Sehudo said on the YouTube show Pound4Pound.

Makhachev and Tsarukyan have already met in the octagon, and then Islam defeated Arman by unanimous decision of the judges.

Recall, Tsarukyan will hold his next fight against Charles Oliveira. The fight will take place at UFC 300.
