Wolkanowski called Aldo the best welterweight in UFC history
Alex Wolkanowski, former UFC featherweight champion, has named what he believes to be the best featherweight in the promotion's history.
"I'm going to name Jose Aldo, as he held the title for a very long time.
He definitely had to face unforeseen adversity, he definitely had to fight through injuries, but he still remained the champion. That's saying something. Huge kudos to Aldo," MMA Fighting quotes Wolkanowski as saying.

Jose Aldo will have his next fight on May 5 at UFC 301, which will take place on May 5 in Rio de Janeiro. The Brazilian's opponent will be American fighter Jonathan Martinez. In his last fight, which took place in August 2022, Aldo lost by decision to Merab Dvalishvili.
