Anderson defeated Martin on points

Undefeated heavyweight Jared "Real Big Baby" Anderson (15-0, 14 KOs) went 10 rounds for the first time against former IBF heavyweight champion Charles "Prince" Martin (29-4-1, 26 KOs) in the main event of the evening at the Huntington Center arena in Toledo, Ohio.

Anderson from the very beginning began to put pressure on his opponent. Martin, who took the fight twelve days before it took place, worked as number two and tried to counterattack. Anderson sent Martin to the floor at the end of the third round with a right hand. But in the fifth round, Martin went ahead and scored many accurate hits. After that, Anderson began to work behind the front hand and simply outplayed Martin. As a result, Anderson won by unanimous decision: 98-91 and twice 99-90.

Also this evening, the undefeated heavyweight Arslanbek "Lev" Makhmudov (17-0, 16 KOs) stopped in the second round Raphael Accegiori (15-1, 14 KOs). Mahmudov sent Akpegiori to the floor twice in the first round, and the fight was stopped after a third knockdown in the second round at 1:43. Mahmudov thus defended his NABF title.
