Shields has a new opponent

rival Claressa Shields (13-0, 2 KOs) Marisela Cornejo (16-5, 6 KOs) will perform at the DAZN boxing evening on June 3 in Detroit. The fight will feature the IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO middleweight titles of Shields.

Previously, Shields' rival was Hannah Gabriels, who, among others, has the titles of world champion in light heavyweight and first heavyweight. However, the presence of banned substances was found in the body of a boxer from Costa Rica.

In her last appearance in the ring, Shields won on points against Savannah Marshall. For Cornejo, this will be the fourth chance in his career to win the championship belt.
