The opponent of Kambosos must be determined by the end of March

Vasily Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs) back in mid-February signed a preliminary contract for two fights with George Kambosos (20-0, 10 KOs). Then, due to the Russian attack on Ukraine, the situation became more complicated, but the P4P star still does not lose hope for the June fight in Australia.

The Ukrainian lost the WBA, IBF and WBO lightweight belts to Teofimo Lopez, and Kambosos took them in turn. In the first defense, the Australian will perform at home on June 5 in Melbourne. The fight with Lomachenko was close to signing a contract, but the Ukrainian had to return to his homeland and join the territorial defense battalion.

By signing the contract, Lomachenko agreed - in case of his victory, give Kambosos revenge, also on his territory. But the Australian has not yet decided whether he will choose Lomachenko's offer or the fight with Devin Haney (27-0, 15 KOs), the owner of the last WBC lightweight belt. The opponent of the Australian, however, should be determined by the end of March, and in the next two weeks it will be known exactly who will stand in the ring in front of Kambosos.
