Adrien Broner was taken into custody and released on bail after being found behind the wheel of a vehicle with eight bullet holes from a shooting in the area. The mugshot shows Broner looking rather embarrassed despite after was a very lucky escape for the fighter who is consistently in trouble with the law despite promises to change his ways.

The 27 year-old, who has found himself on the wrong side of regulations on many occasions in the recent past, was arrested in Covington after being followed from a bowling alley and fired at. Ten 9mm bullet casings were found at the scene near the rented Suburban, which was full of holes as the picture released by WLWT.com clearly shows. Broner is also due to appear in court on April 27 on a separate failure to appear in court charge.

Only last summer, 'The Problem' as he is aptly nicknamed, was released after serving a month in prison stemming from behavior surrounding an assault and robbery charge, which were later dismissed.

Whilst the American's talent inside the ring goes unquestioned, Broner's continued brushes with the law outside of boxing are a cause for concern. Linked with massive world title clashes at both 140 and 147 pounds, Broner risks losing out on millions of dollars if he doesn't straighten his ways and avoid police interest.

A split decision win over Adrian Granados in February represents the last time Broner took part in a professional bout, having lost his super-lightweight title on the scales ten months earlier. The Ohio man had already claimed recognized belts at super-featherweight, lightweight and welterweight since bursting onto the scene in the late 2000's.
