Buckley named a priority opponent after beating Luque

UFC American welterweight Joaquin Buckley has stated his desire to compete against former title challenger Gilbert Burns.

Buckley defeated Vicente Luque by technical knockout in the second round last weekend at UFC on ESPN 54.

"I like the idea of fighting Gilbert Burns. Right now I'm 3-1 against guys from the Kill Cliff gym where he trains. The first guy from that team to beat me was Logan Storley - back when I fought in Bellator. Back then, he had me in the clinch for 15 minutes. After that I knocked out Impa Kasanganai, Andre Fiallo, and now their boy Vicente. So now I lead 3-1 against them," Buckley was quoted by BJ Penn as saying.
