On the night of March 31 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, USA, the Premier Boxing Champions boxing event took place, which included a fight for the interim WBC light middleweight title between Ukrainian Serhiy Bogachuk (24-1, 23 KOs) and American Brian Mendoza (22-4, 16 KOs).
The meeting went the full distance of 12 rounds and ended with the victory of the Ukrainian boxer by unanimous decision of the judges (118-110, 117-111 and 117-111).
Recall that initially Bogachuk was supposed to fight Sebastian Fundora, but the latter came out to replace the injured Keith Thurman in the fight with Tim Tszyu.
