Puryear: 'You shouldn't talk about injuries after a defeat'

Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Puryear criticized Benoit Saint-Denis, who after their fight began to talk about his health problems.

Recall that on March 9 at UFC 299, Puryear knocked out Saint-Denis in the second round.

"You talk about the fact that you had an infection when you lose, but when you win, you don't remember it. I've fought so many times with a staph infection, with a cracked leg, with a torn bicep. I had a staph infection in my ear and I was going into the octagon! All of these challenges are called wrestling.

We wrestle and work each other on the mats every day. We each get injured differently before a fight, but if you lose, you're not supposed to talk about it. You have to keep it quiet, don't advertise it," MMA Mania quoted Porier as saying.
