Golovkin commented on his election to the post of head of the NOC of Kazakhstan

Gennady Golovkin, a former world middleweight champion, commented on his election to the post of head of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

“It will be a great honor for me to represent our country in a new capacity. When I was offered to head the NOC of Kazakhstan, I agreed to nominate myself on the condition that I would be allowed to make my contribution to the development of Kazakh sports. As you know, I am not a politician or an official. I’m used to proving my intentions not with words, but with deeds. I see strengthening international relations as one of the main tasks. I would like to add that I have my own vision, I have many years of international experience, I have a team, and most importantly, a long-standing sincere desire, is to implement everything in my home country,” Golovkin said.
