On March 8, at a boxing evening in Riyadh, a fight for the vacant WBA world champion title in junior middleweight will take place between Israil Madrimov (9-0-1, 6 KOs) and Magomed Kurbanov (25-0, 13 KOs).

Previously, the World Boxing Association title in this weight category belonged to Jermell Charlo. For both boxers, this will be the first opportunity to become a world champion in their professional careers.

Two more championship fights will be held as part of the boxing evening in Saudi Arabia - Zhilei Zhang and Joseph Parker will fight for the interim WBO heavyweight belt, and Ray Vargas and Nick Ball will challenge the WBC featherweight title.

In the main fight, Anthony Joshua will meet Francis Ngannou. The tournament will be broadcast on the DAZN platform in the Pay-Per-View system.
